“When you seek the truth, ask a wise woman.”
When a woman reaches her later years, she is full of the wisdom of life. She has lived, she has loved, she has suffered, and of course - she has learned. Symbolically the representation of the elder Mother Nature or Gaia, the crone is wise, strong and imbued with compassion.
The crone is at peace with herself, her past, and the world around her. Her experiences have freed her from the many social shackles of the younger folk who long for her skill of sheer contentment.
This utterly beautiful piece is sculpted by Przemysław Szymczyk and is an honour to the wise women of the world.
Margery lives in her cottage in the woods, and spends her days tending to her allotment, with the assistant of Gregory, her kitty.
Sculpted (and shown painted by) Przemysław Szymczyk and cast in high quality resin (three peices).
Unlike our other busts this is not freestanding, so a plinth or pole support is recommended for mounting upon.
Supplied unpainted and unassembled. Take the usual resin precautions when preparing to paint.
