WW2 GREECE
The youngest of our current resistance miniatures, Iro Konstantopoulou was just 14 when she joined the Panhellenic Organisation of Youth.
Iro's tasks were mostly espionage-based - intercepting and delivery messages, which wasn't an uncommon activity for the younger members of the resistance, pretty much throughout history. Children can pass through unseen much better than adults, even adult women! (A huge theme of this project is the ability of women to use their disadvantage of being underestimated into an advantage).
Following her part the explosion of a German ammunition-carrying train, Iro was arrested on her way home from school and inspired the film "17 Bullets for an Angel"
We've depicted her here skulking around like a standard civilian, so you don't need to put her in any danger in your games - she can be a civilian carrying secret messages un-noticed away from the action.
The pack consists of one single piece miniature, cast in high quality pewter. 28mm scale, supplied unpainted.
Sculpted by Alan Marsh. Shown painted by John Morris.
