WW2 ITALY
Carla Capponi is shown here leaving the Hotel Majestic, where she had just shot her first person - a Wehrmacht officer who had some vital documents for the resistance. The bag contains maps and blueprints showing anti aircraft placement, power and comms grids around Rome.
Her work began with courier and information duties but she's determined to do more violent resistance, despite her group not issuing guns to women. This problem she solved herself by lifting one off somebody on a bus.
We've depicted her looking around as she runs with the bag, and in the heat of such a defining moment, she hasn't noticed the gun is still in her hand in public.
The pack consists of one single piece miniature, cast in high quality pewter. 28mm scale, supplied unpainted.
